Genoace Gundam Tron Grid Runner Version

Here is the final update for this project, after some photographic trial and error I'm finally happy with the shots of this.

It was a fun project that I really enjoyed doing for a change..lol, it did have a few frustrations but all in all I'm very happy with the outcome. (especially amused with the little GIF I made for the blog)

My one and ONLY TRUE HOPE, is that this will inspire anyone in a slump AND demonstrate that you can take a crappy model kit ...coupled with a little imagination......and turn it into something interesting.

AQU-ERO-VETTE...More Like Pain In The Butt Vette.

Dropping these preliminary shots of the Areovette before I do the final assembly, mainly because I have had to re due this dam thing FOUR TIMES already . I over buffed the first time and the paint came off, I had some kinda weird chemical reaction which caused pot holes the next go round.

For the finale I got hit with a frosty clear coat right before this final run, I was finally able to produce what you now see..(still a few small flaws)
Not that bad considering I did not melt the dam thing four times over stripping it with a 60/40 lacquer Thinner/alcohol mix , I'm still tempted to buff a bit more but might just call it a wrap..(cant strip it a 5th time, cause i would pass out from the fumes)

I will explain the paints used and what not in the final post with better pictures tomorrow.

Greetings all out there, here's a few dandy little gems I recently came across and have some big plans for in the future. (Pretty sure some of you will want to know were and how....look up HOUSE OF FUN ) he has quite a few vintage AMT/ERTL kits to name a few, and might be able to ship em to you.

PHOTO & LINK DUMP BLITZING OF COOL BUILDS. (1OF1000)

OK my friends, here is the first mega dump of hobby creations I have come across last month including as many home site links I care to track down or include.

Many of these gents I know, and have called friend.....some I only know by name or not at all.

But regardless I can appreciate all the works that I have dumped, and feel that they deserve an even greater exposure than they may already have gotten.

SOOOO....hope you all enjoy them as much as I have.
