A little something after a long while.

1st I would like to say I hope all my blogger friends have been well.

I have had a little bit of time off from work due to a pending medical procedure, and I got right back to the hobby.

I would like to share this WIP of a Zaku Kit-bash using two other kits, an astrea and astray blue frame.
Tonz of inspirations from all over have been used in this build, the soul concept idea is for a more streamlined mecha-tomically correct plastic model.

Sooo, For reference sake and hopefully to inspire another out there one day...image dump.

Sailing Away And Saying Goodbye For A While.

I'd like to send out Huggz and High 5's to ALL MY BLOGGER AND FORUM FRIENDS.

Life has served up some major challenge's...as it always will for most of us.

When a persons dreams an aspirations seem blotted and unclear it leaves no room to be inspired or motivated to create, as it currently stands all my attention will be forwarded to life responsibilities.

105,897 PAGE VIEWS AND NOTHING BUT LOVE TO ALL OUT THERE.

I want to leave you with this awesome video and song, Named "Sail" by Awolnation Video is "Eye of the Storm" by Christopher Alexander

Thank You For All The Love My Friends Have Shown Over The Years.

Sincerely.

Genoace Gundam Tron Grid Runner Version

Here is the final update for this project, after some photographic trial and error I'm finally happy with the shots of this.

It was a fun project that I really enjoyed doing for a change..lol, it did have a few frustrations but all in all I'm very happy with the outcome. (especially amused with the little GIF I made for the blog)

My one and ONLY TRUE HOPE, is that this will inspire anyone in a slump AND demonstrate that you can take a crappy model kit ...coupled with a little imagination......and turn it into something interesting.

Stay well my friends.
Sincerely,
 Kriz. :)

Gundam Age WIP "Genoace Ver Clu"

Another update on this build, after watching a few movie's and some net surfing I found my muse.

I have wanted to do a Tron Legacy version of a robot kit since the movie and Disney cartoon came out, but just haven't had the mojo too do so.

This has been a longer than usual venture than most 1/144 kits that I have done, due to not having a initial concept in mind and working out the paint and application issue's. If I had more of a reason other than fun, I guess I could have done a MG kit with all kinda LED's an what not...but pfft what for lol.
So I have otherwise had to figure the best way of applying a Florescent acrylic paint which actually when dried shows up opaque with out black light, I have had to use a mixture of citadel along with pre-applying a coat of model master's orange all by hand brushing...(which kinda sucks)... water based upon a alcohol based has a few drying time challenges I must say.

(Too the up-an-comers....this is not as easy as it looks....do your paint testing if you ever decide to try it this way.)

mostly for process reference.

Custom 1/144 Genoace WIP. (no clue as to what im doing)

Been working on another 1/144 kit over this last week, The Genoace custom from Gundam Age series...crap anime imo..but some decent mecha designs.

I'm not really sure what the end result will be, I'm just gonna let the parts and paint fall were they may on this one. I hope that my mojo will kick in near the end, and some kind of snazzy paint scheme will come over me for this......we shall see I guess.

What I have so far. (mostly subtle modifications)

MSG Koto Parts.
A few xtra panel lines.
Styrene Bits and Plates.

1/144 Enact "Tigrissa" Custom, A Dedication To ALL My Hobby Friends In Internet Land.

Life has been throwing curve balls my way for the last few years, and I just keep moving through it as a man should.
As most who know me...may not be able to recall when I have had the luxury of finishing a build, well after suffering some minor nerve damage in my 5th digit ( me throttling someone lol) a few months ago (among other things).....I have finally finished something.

A very flimsy and small (1/144 scale) Gundam Kit, done up with airbrushed tiger stripes using individually cut pieces of masking tape.

I 'd like to dedicate this to all that I call friend within the Hobby Community, as well as Blogger and the Forums that I have frequented.

It has and remains my pleasure to be a part of the party..lol.

The Enact Custom "Tigrissa"........ Cheers, Salute, Kassai.
